The United Library shares a common catalog with Northwestern University Library. The catalog is known as NUcat. Click one of the links below to search either the United Library only, or both library systems simultaneously.
Please note: The button that searches the "United Library Only", pulls only physical books, journals, microfilms, etc. at the Seabury and Garrett locations. Catalog records and links to e-journals and e-books will appear only when searching both the United Library and Northwestern (the second button).

Tips for searching: In the column to the left you will find many helpful links that provide extra information about the online card catalog. There is even a short video tutorial that demonstrates a sample search, though those with slower or dial up connections may find that the video takes a very long time to download. If that is the case with the machine upon which you are working, please contact the library we will be happy to copy the file to a disc and mail it to you. The video plays with Flash media player. Not in the Card Catalog? Please note that the
electronic card catalog is
incomplete. The United Library holds an additional 100,000 items that are
only accessible through
a paper card and drawer cabinet located in the Garrett reference room.

for which you are looking.
