No big surprises here. Although, I thought that my sympathies toward evangelical charismatics would have come out higher. I think the quiz hit all of the things that I don't like about my past. As I have told many before, I would not be a biblical scholar, care so much about studying the scripture, or care so deeply about making worship real for contemporary folks if it weren't for my evangelical background. Another example in my life of being "inbetween," a hybrid.
I think that this quiz is on the money on my "liberalism." I am politically and socially liberal, but I can't stand classical liberalism. In this way, I suppose, I am thoroughly postmodern.
You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.
