Slump

I'm already in my first mini-slump of the young softball season. I went 0-2 last night, lowering my season batting avg. to .400. Hitting .400 in baseball is a major accomplishment. Anything below .500 in slow pitch softball is not so good. Hopefully with the warming trend, I will find my swing.

And I did decide on the Easton Synergy SCX 22 (or Synergy 2). Nice bat!

Keep your back shoulder up and wait on the ball.

(that's what I always tell myself, anyway)

I am not dropping my shoulder, thank God! But the last piece of advice--waiting on the ball--that is something that I'm not doing well. I'm a hair early on everything, and pounding it into the ground.

Why do you get set at the plate so early? Maybe you could try keeping you bat in motion a little longer.

Hopefully problem fixed. I went 4-5 tonight. I still haven't found my power swing, but 4-5 will do.

Hope you found a player for last night! Also, sweet bat!
