It's finally warm!

100 degrees here! HA! ha ha ha!

I mean - I really hope that it's as nice where you are. All those in the north, did it ever warm up?

Arizona is great. I love to visit this state. I don't really like how dry it is, but with as cold as it has been in Chicago, I'm happy to finally be warm.

76 here in Chicago today! That's plenty warm enough, if you ask me. Why would you want it to be 100?

Yeah, it was warm in Chicago. But it was also muggy, humid, sticky and icky. How does that Animals song go . . . "We gotta get out of this place, if it the last thing we ever do . . ."

It's been 80+ for the last two days here, and breezy, and gorgeous. I spent the day yesterday at two consecutive ballgames-- soccer and softball, in that order-- and have the sunburn to show for it.

Apparently sunblock expires. Who knew?

100? Honey, that is beyond warm. THat experience you had was "hot." I know that you are from an area that seldom experiences that type of heat, but that was 100 degrees of hot.

thanks susie!

on friday - susie and i walked to the gym. it was so cold coming home i wanted my ear muffs (or at least a hooded sweatshirt). i am no longer cold. for that, i am grateful.

and i'm good with 100 degrees of hot for a couple of days. i'm finally warm! though i do miss the humidity...

OMG Todd! I used to LAUGH at the Chicago-ans who whined about the humidity....oh my Lord, it's 30% humidity. Let me tell ya - that is SO low as to be unreported down here, the land of 70 to 90% humidity. I am grateful for the coast assignment as I get a constant ocean breeze to cool things down. I LOVED Chicago summer and fall, but it was NEVER humid....
I also like Arizona, spent a week in plus 100 weather and it was fine, cuz it really IS dry....makes all the difference, folks.

I beg to differ with those who have said it isn't humid. Anytime you get hot and sticky without being trapped in a sauna, IT'S HUMID!!! Hopefully one of these job things will work out and I won't have to worry about it anymore.
