At the Eucharist on May 26, 2005, the student body awarded the Seabury Cross Honoris Causa and the Seabury Staff Award. The Seabury Cross Honoris Causa was awarded to the Rt. Rev. David C. Bowman, interim dean at Seabury from September to December, 2004. The Seabury Staff Award was given jointly to Wolf Waldert, Maintenance Superintendent and Marcus Young, retired Director of Development.

The student body votes to give these special awards to individuals who have made an extraordinary contribution to the Seabury community.
