Milner Seifert

M. Milner Seifert is Lecturer in Sacred Music. He teaches courses in liturgical music and serves as Director of Music for the Charles Palmerston Anderson Chapel of Saint John the Divine. Milner has a Master of Music in Music History and Literature (1976) from Northwestern University and a Certificate in Liturgical Studies from the University of Notre Dame (1993). From 1969 until 2003 he was Choral Director at Evanston Township High School. Milner serves as Choir Director for St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Wilmette, Illinois. In the past he has been a member of the Liturgical Commission of the Diocese of Chicago and served a term on the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music (1997-2003).
