During this challenging and exciting time (Dean Hall's letter), we hope that you will continue to support us as we work to discern our future. Whatever Seabury becomes will necessitate an investment--the tangible commitment of faithful people who care deeply about the Church's mission and seek to make a difference not only in the here and now but also in the 'to be'. We are grateful to all our alums, parishes and friends who have done so much to sustain Seabury and its mission to develop future leaders for the Church and Christ’s mission. We are especially thankful to those of you who have written in support of Seabury’s future. This email from The Rev. Janey Wilson ‘06 was particularly moving:
“I absolutely believe that Seabury will emerge as a confident model to other seminaries. Frankly, with the caliber of the people at the helm, I do not see how it can fail. My time at Seminary yielded many precious gifts- academic, spiritual and formative. Nonetheless, it is the empowering Spirit of God's love that I affirmed at Seabury which continues to sustain me in rich and varied ways."
Now is the time to give, to provide the momentum necessary to build the future of theological education, today. We believe God is calling us forward. We invite your prayers and ask for your ongoing support. Your generous gift will not only be a tribute to 150 years of providing high quality theological education, it will insure that we will be able to continue to do so for the next 150.
