Deborah Stokes

Deborah Stokes lives in Columbus, Ohio, and serves on the Executive Council of the General Convention of the Episcopal Church.

Anne Tuohy

Anne Lea Tuohy has been a trustee since 2006.  She is an honorary canon of St. James Cathedral in Chicago and is a member of St. Elisabeth's Episcopal Church in Glencoe, Illinois. She is an alumna of Vassar College, and she and her husband live in Glencoe. In addition to her professional work in management consulting with non-profits, she has served as a director of several local, national and international organizations.

Michael Way

The Rev. Michael Way is Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Red Wing, Minnesota. A 2010 graduate of Bexley Hall, Michael previously served at All Saints, Columbus. Before seminary he had a 20-year career as director of special events at several major New York City cultural institutions, as well as organizing hospitality programs for corporate sponsors of sporting events. Michael recently served on the Bexley-Seabury Presidential search committee.

Mary Carson

The Rev. Mary Carson is Interim Rector of Church of the Redeemer in Lorain, Ohio and is a second generation graduate of Bexley Hall. Her father held an M.Div from Bexley Hall and Mary was granted the same degree in 1992. Prior to her current position, Mary served from 2007-2011 as associate executive director and interim executive director of Lutheran Chaplaincy Services in Cleveland, Ohio.  From 1999-2007 Mary served on the bishop's staff for deployment and ministry development.

Maribeth Conroy

The Rev. Mary E. (Maribeth) Conroy is Rector of St. Philip's Episcopal Church and School in Coral Gables, Florida, having been called there initially as Priest in Charge in 2009.  Maribeth holds two degrees from Seabury Western, M.Div in 1996, D.Min in 2009 and serves on the Board of the Anglican Theological Review. Maribeth also earned a master's degree in Religious Education at Fordham University.

M.E. Eccles

The Rev. M.E. Eccles is priest-in-charge at St. Martin's in Des Plaines, Illinois. M.E. holds both a MTS and M.Div from Seabury Western, an MA in Pastoral Counseling from the Institute of Pastoral Studies, and is licensed as a Professional Counselor in Illinois.  M.E. serves on the Standing Committee in the Diocese of Chicago and was a member of the bishop's task force for restructuring the diocesan staff.

Darby Everhard

The Rev. Darby Everhard is the Associate Rector for Christian Formation and Liturgy at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Darby is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and worked in the field of laboratory medicine in Indiana and Virginia for a number of years. She served as a lay hospital chaplain for twelve years at The Christ Hospital and at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated with a Master of Divinity from Bexley Hall Seminary in 2004, and currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees.

Alan Gates

The Rev. Alan Gates is rector of St. Paul's, Cleveland Heights, having previously served parishes in the dioceses of Massachusetts, Western Massachusetts, and Chicago. A graduate of Middlebury College and Episcopal Divinity School, he served as a Russian linguist and Soviet analyst with the federal government before attending seminary.  Alan has chaired the Commission on Ministry in the Diocese of Ohio, and serves various roles in the process of discernment and formation for ordination. He and Patricia Harvey are parents of two grown sons.

Richard Hamlin

The Very Rev'd W. Richard Hamlin, Ph.D. received his MDiv from Bexley Hall in 1992. Dick retired on January 1, 2013 after serving eight years as Rector of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Lansing, Michigan.  He previously served parishes in Central New York and before ordination taught anthropology and sociology for 18 years. From 2000-2006, Dick was a member of the Standing Commission on Stewardship and Development of the Episcopal Church and he has presented workshops at TENS conferences. He serves a Dean of the Capital Deanery and as a member of the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Michigan.

Gary Manning

The Rev. Gary B. Manning is the Rector of Trinity Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He has bene in ministry together with that congregation since July, 2004. Prior to his arrival in Wauwatosa, he had served as the Associate to the Rector at Christ and St. Luke's Church in Norfolk, Virginia. During his tenure at Trinity Church, Manning has also served the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee as a member of the Executive Committee, the Commission on Mission and Development. Gary is active in Living Compass Ministries, a non profit dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to wellness in body, mind and spirit.
