St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in East Haddam, CT is happy to announce the arrival of their new rector, The Rev. Adam Yates. He is a graduate of the Chicago Theological Seminary and Northland College, Ashland, WI. While a student at CTS, Adam cross-registered into six Seabury courses from 2008 to 2010, of which four were Anglican Studies courses. He and his partner, The Rev. Matthew Emery, Senior Pastor at Storrs Congregational Church, are currently living in Storrs, CT, with their cat, Demon. In the photo below, from HTNP News, are (from left) Bishop Ian T. Douglas, Adam Yates, and Matthew Emery. Adam previously served at St. Paul’s on the Green, Norwalk, CT where he served for two years as the Assistant for Member Incorporation.
